Every season holds new discoveries at Longwood Gardens. For the fall of 2008, they've made a beautiful living cornucopia and tucked it away in the music room of the conservatory there. The exhibit is called "Fall Fantasy in Glass". The ivy and moss covered horn was so large, that I had walked all the way around it before I realized that that was what it was....
Now, normally, I don't enter a room like this with my little boys. The horror of what would (yes, *would*) happen is too gruesome to even contemplate. Just in case I forgot, the fine staff included a price list at the door for each pumpkin in the display. I decided that we couldn't afford all of them, so we sent the boys to the treehouses before we snuck into this room.
